closed= is where the bone is broken and there is no cut or wound.
open= is where the ends of the broken bone are exposed to the air and pushing through the skin.
complex= damage to body organs and local tissue caused by the fracture.

A

the RICER princible is to make sure that the injury doesn’t get worse and doesn’t result in a bigger problem., this is why when you get injured you should always take the first 72 hours seriously and follow the RICER and NO HARM procedures to insure you get better faster and without getting worse injuries.
