What is the definition of a complex skill
When it takes a long time to learn because it involves a high level of concentration and coordination
What is the definition of a self paced skill
A skill that is started when the performer decides to start it. The speed, rate or pace of the skill is controlled by the performer.
What is the definition of a gross skill
A skill which requires large muscle groups to perform big, strong, powerful movements
What is the definition of an open skill
A skill performed in an unstable and changing environment. This is effected by other people around you.
What is the definition of a basic skill
Simple skills which do not require much concentration or coordination

A skill that is started because of an external factor. The speed, rate or pace of the skill is controlled by your opponent or by the environment.

A skill involving small, precise movements, showing high level of accuracy and coordination. It involves small groups of muscles.

When it is performed in a stable environment and is not affected by the environment.
