Spontaneous Generation Flashcards
Francesco Redi’s Experiment
Had 3 jars, each with meat in them. One was open, one was sealed, and one was covered in gauze. The open jar had many flies swarming around it, the second jar did not have any, and the third jar had few flies at the top. The point of the experiment was to show that spontaneous generation did not exist.
