- draw line in front of and below the ankle bone and it’s where the lines cross
- find with foot at right angles and mark with foot relaxed

- between the posterior border of the tibia and the soleus muscle
- roughly 4 fingers above the ankle

- 1 fingers width from the tibial border between the bone and soleus muscle
- stand on the ball of the foot to highlight muscle

- one finger wide from the border of the tibia and between the bone and soleus muscle
(- high heel muscle )

- in the hollow where the condyle of the tibia begins to flare out
- level with the tibial tuberosity and the head of fibula
- between the gastrocnemius and tibia
