Concept: This is spleen failing to transform and transport due to qi deficiency. Lifting function is weakening.
Spleen Qi Deficiency
Analysis: Usually caused by poor diet, over-thinking, over-worry, fatigue due to overstrain (stress) or hereditary weakness, or old age deficiencies.
Spleen Qi Deficiency
Key Symptoms: abdominal distention, poor appetite, tiredness, loose stool Clinical Manifestations: bloating esp. after meals, weak muscles strength, low voice or lazy not wanting to speak much, can be obese or emaciated, edema (obese and edema will also have damp signs).

Tongue: Pale with White Coat

Pulse: weak pulse (moderate pulse: means 4 beats to one breath, a little slow, but can be normal, so not included here)
Spleen Qi Deficiency
Concept: This failure to Spleen’s lifting function, not able to raise qi.
Spleen Qi Sinking
Analysis: This is a further development (if untreated) of Spleen Qi deficiency with or due to chronic symptoms such as diarrhea, excessive child bearing, overstrain consuming qi, also old age with increasing deficiency signs. Sinking of clear qi gets mixed with turbid and goes to bladder. Clear yang fails to rise.

Key Symptoms: bearing down sensation in abdomen, weak pulse, plus any organ or vessel prolapse signs. Clinical Manifestations: bearing down sensation (especially after meals) frequent diarrhea, turbid urine, frequent urine, dizziness
