- Govern transport and transform
- Controls blood, ascending qi, saliva
- Dominate muscles and four limbs
- Open into the mouth and manifest on the lips
What are the symptoms for Spleen Qi Deficiency?
- Loose stools
- Bloating
- Physical/mental fatigue
- Poor appetite
- Food allergies/sensitivities
- Nausea
Describe the importance of SP 1.
JING WELL POINT
- restore consciousness - DU 21, HT 1
- unbinds the chest
> dyspnea, sighing, fullness
- heavy bleeding
> for uterine bleeding use LR 3, SP 8
Describe Main Channel Pathway
- Connects to REN 3 & REN 4
- Connects to REN 10 (lower cavity point) to help descend ST Qi, eliminate stagnation, help with bowel functions
- Links with the Heart

- for upper/lower abdominal pain, intestine problems
- use PC 6 to regulate ST fx

Spreads through the chest and lateral costal region

- whole body pain from blood stasis

- chest and hypochondriac pain from stagnation
