how to cut a citrus crescent
- trim the numbs on both sides of the citrus
- cut the citrus in half lengthwise
- make a partial cut in the center half of each half crosswise
4.cut each half into 1/4 inch slices
how to cut a citrus twist
- strip the long pieces of a citrus peel
- holding the peel with the meaty part facing you and outside facing the glass, squeeze to release oils over the glass
- rub twist around rim (optional)
- discard, place it in drink
- if using rocks/old fashioned glass, place peel as is
- if using coupe: place peel as is or twist into a coil and balance on rim
- is using champagne/martini glass: place as is or coil into glass
