Rescue 42 Safety and Maintenance
Safety: -Strap factory rating = 10,000 lbs -SDFD working rating = 3,335 lbs (3:1 working ratio) -Struts rating = refer to chart on struts -Wear full protective safety gear and eye protection -Ensure metal pins i baseplate only and composite pins are set prior to operation -After operation loosen straps slowly with scewdriver to prevent load from shifting -Keep struts between 45-70 degrees for safety (45 degrees preferred) -DO NOT use for lifting of loads; used for stabilization of loads -DO NOT extend past orange marking Maintenance -Clean with mild soap and water -Inspect for cracks, dents, splintering or bowing
