Paprika
Seasoning spice with a deep smoky flavor and slight sweetness with very little bitterness
Cilantro
A dried seed from this herb is known as coriander tradition herb that looks very similar to parsley with citrus and sage flavors.
Poblano Peppers
Poblanos are typically green in color and fairly mild in flavor . They are roasted and peeled before serving. The dried version of pablanos are know as “Ancho”
Habanero Peppers
Habaneros Peppers are orangish-red in color, with a sweet flavor masked by the fiery heat of the pepper. Habaneros are one of the hottest peppers in the chile family.
Pico de Gallo
Fresh Mexican salsa made from diced tomato, onions, jalapeno, chopped cilantro and lime juice.
Salsa Roja
Abuelo’s traditional red salsa served with chips made from a blend of tomatoes peppers and spices.
Salsa Brava
Roasted tomatoes, garlic, jalapenos, and onions give this salsa a smoky bite.
Sour Cream Swirl
Sour cream whipped with milk
Cumin
member of the parsley family. Aromatic spic with a strong nutty flavor. Works well with almost any cuisine.
Anaheim Peppers
Anaheim peppers are typically green in color with a long narrow shape. They have a sweet simple flavor with very mild spice.
Jalapeno Peppers
Jalapenos are small green peppers with a medium heat index. Jalapenos can be used fresh for salsas or pickled. They are commonly used in salsas. The dried versions are known as chipotles.
Hominy
Made from soaking white or yellow corn in a water mixture until the germ and outer hull of the corn is removed. Ground hominy is used to make gritz or masa the dough is used to make tamales.
Chipotle
Chipotle is dried smoked jalapeno with a smokey sweet flavor.
Salsa Infierno
Habanero based salsas used to enhance the flavor of existing salsa. Adding the inferno salsas to the salsa roja allows the guest to add as much or as little spice and heat to their salsas.
