Visual task- one eyed covered and asked to focus on centre point
Stimuli was presented on left or right of the screen
They were asked to write or say what they saw
Tactile task- ppts had eyes covered
They were handed and object in one hand
The object was mixed with many other objects and they were asked to find it with their other hand

Finding
Visual task- info shown and responded to in one visual field can only be recognised again if shown in the same visual field
Tactile task- when an object was placed in each hand then hidden they could only find the object that was paces in their original hands
Conclusions
People with split brains have 2 separate visuals inner world each with its on train visual images

High int val- controls
Useful- naturally occurring iv
High int rel- standardised
Weaknesses
Sample bias- small sample all western culture
Lacks scientific nature- quality data
