A
The specific heat capacity of a substance is defined as the energy required per unit mass to change the temperature by 1K.

How do you determine SHC for a solid?
A
- Measure mass of solid
- Solid inside of insulation
- Heat using heater and record temp every x minutes
- Measure I and V
- Plot Temp against Time
- Gradient

A
Same as solid but stir
