Describe the red blood Cell
Has no nucleus and contains a chemical called haemoglobin
What does the red blood cell do?
The red blood cell carries oxygen around the body.
Describe the nerve cell.
The nerve cell is long, thin but slightly thicker at the ends.
What does the nerve cell do ?
The nerve cell carries messages from one part of the body to another.
Describe the sperm cell.
The sperm cell is a streamlined shape with a tail.
What does the sperm cell do?
The sperm cell moves to the egg cell
Describe the root cell.
Has lots of tiny hairs on it to make the outside of the cell bigger.
What does the root cell do?
Allows the cell to take up more water from the soil.
