what is the main function of the sperm cell ?
to transport the male DNA to the female egg

the sperm cell has a lot of mitochondria which gives it energy and it has an acrosome in front of the head which stores enzymes needed to digest it way through the membrane of the egg cell.

to carry female dna to nourish the embryo in the early stages
what does the egg cell have that would benefit the embryo
it contains nutrients in the cytoplasm to feed the embryo .
what happens straight after fertilisation ?
the egg cell’s membrane changes its structure so it stops any more sperm from getting in .
what is the function of the cilia epithelial cell ?
it help to move the mucus up the throat so it can be swallowed and doesn’t reach the lungs
