What is the Pinch Grip Test testing for?
What indicates a positive test?
Describe the test
- Pathology of the anterior interosseous nerve
- The patient is asked to pinch the tips of the index finger and thumb together. If the patient cannot pinch tip-to-tip and instead presses the pads of the fingers together, the test is positive for pathology of the anterior interosseous nerve
