Lateral border: Brachioradialis
medial border: pronator teres
superior border: epicondyle line
Floor : supinator and brachialis
roof: deep fascia reinforced by the bicipital aponeurosis
What is in the cubital fossa?
Brachial artery
Median nerve
biceps tendon
median cubital vein
deep veins
med/lat cutaneous nerves
What muscle is split by the ulnar nerve creating the cubital fossa?
Flexor carpi ulnaris passes between the two heads of the flexor carpi ulnaris (entrapment of a nerve)
What muscles are involved in the quadrilateral / quadrangular spaces?
Teres Major/minor
Triceps long head
What do those spaces hold, moving medial to lateral space?
Medial space-circumflex scap artery
Next space (superior arm pit)-Axillary nerve and posterior circumflex numeral artery
Most lateral space - radial nerve and deep/profundus brachii artery
What creates the snuff box?
EPL tendon
EPB tendon
APL tendon
The floor would be moving proximal to distal scaphoid and trapezium
