What are some examples of precautionary measures that should be taken into consideration when seeing our patients?
- Thorough MH
- Know their Conditions
- Vital Signs
- Monitor patient for signs of distress
What are examples of communication considerations?
- Be aware of verbal and nonverbal cues
- Open dialogue (no judgement)
- Show, Tell, Do
What are treatment planning considerations?
A matter taken into account when formulation a plan; continuous and careful thought”
What are examples of treatment planning considerations?
- Transportation
- Time/Duration of appt.
- Chair positioning
- Environment (access/hazards)
- Follow up care (3 month recall)
- Pt./Care giver Education
- Consistency
- Say it, do it
Acute
rapid or sudden onset; treat the cause, recovery will result

Provide info to parents/care givers regarding condition or treatment expectations
