Spin recovery?
P- Power Idle
A- Ailerons neutral
R- Rudder opposite
E- Elevator down
Why pull power to idle for spin recovery?
- To not over speed the aircraft and propeller
- Power is a pro stall input
Why neutral ailerons during a spin?
Opposite or same direction aileron increases drag which deepens the spin.
Why opposite rudder then elevator in a spin?
Because the elevator isn’t as effective when spinning so stopping that spin before applying downward pressure is more effective
