Intense violet scent, redcurrants, cranberries and strawberries.

Also known as Lambrusco di Castelvetro.
Only Lambrusco planted on the higher quality hill sites rather than the plains or Emilia.
Deep purple-ruby, almond aromas, black ripe cherries and plum.
Gives flesh, body and bigger tannin to the wine.
What are the characters of Lambrusco Salamino?
Most abundantly planted.
Dark purple Ruby hue with aromas and flavours of violet, rose and small red and dark berries.
Fairly tannic and exuberant fruit.
Often blended with Lambrusco di Sorbara to give flesh and colour.
What is Brachetto?
Aromatic red from Piemonte.
Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG, Piemonte DOC Brachetto.
Light-bodied with sour cherries, sweet raspberries, cinnamon and nutmeg.
From slightly fizzy to fully sparkling
Typically sweet, low abv by Charmat method.
