Will in english expressed a future tense but not always.
For example when a sentence starts from will you please in english, that is a polite way of avoiding the imperative, also as would you please. This has nothing to do with future. So in these situations use Can you. (But not the future form of it, as it is not pertaining to future)
Puede
Another example:
You have to wait
Means You must wait
You don’t have to wait
Literal translation means you must not wait (if done by usual method in spanish), and this is not what we want.
You dont have to wait, doesn’t mean you must not, means its not necessary
You don’t need to wait
No necessiata esperar
Or
It is not neccesary that you wait (has element of doubt/uncertainty)
No es neccasario que espere (switch tracks here and not used espera because you switch tracks for expressing doubt and uncertainty)
Some verbs have a character to express line in the past and not dot:
I knew it
I wanted to see it
I could (prob, could in eng represents two different tenses, past (was able)(couldn’t find it), not in past (would be able) (could you come with me), so with could know if could past or not past), if not past then for example could you tell me (on or above the now line, so not past):
For could in past: I couldn’t see it (i was not able to find it, dot from)
But mostly expresses line in past : I couldn’t do it
Sabeeya (dot form would be Supe but only used to express knew only at a moment or found out)
Queria verlo
Podria
No pude verlo (dot form, couldn’t see it at that moment)
No podeeya asirlo
I wanted (dot form)
He wanted
They wanted it
I would like (imperative) what we might want to do ( can do with any verbs)
Quiese
Lo quieso
Lo quiesyeron
Lo quieeyera
After if use the subjunctive or the command tense If i were (subjunctive) For example: I knew (dot form) They knew If i knew
Supe
Supeyeron
See supeyera

See tubeyera el tiempo lo haria

I had (a broken line or a complete line) I had (dot form) If i had
Teniya
Tube
See tubeyera
I have sold it (diving board past) I would have sold it I had sold it (After any form of have have to dive) The aber have i mean I had (dot situaion) They had (dot) If i had sold it If i had seen it i would have bought it
Lo eh bendido Lo aberia bendido Lo abeeya bendido Hube Hubeyeron See lo hubeyera bendido See lo hubeyera visto lo habria comprado
If i had known it i would have told you
See lo hubyera sabedo le abria decho
