Q

In the instances of: (where pronoun comes at the end)
Where the infinitive form of the verb is used
Where we are referencing something in the process of doing it at the very moment (andalo, yendalo)
Positive impertive

A

In the first two, you can put the pronoun before or after, but doing after is easier so stick with it.
In the 3rd situation, we have to put pronoun after the verb, no option.

18
Q

For gogo, for positive imperatives for roberto, you drop the go so for eg:
Tell it to me (roberto)
(Neg imperative to roberto stays the same)

A

De melo

19
Q

Command tense: (subjanctive)
Eg: same push in imperative for present tense plus add command tense
When to use it and why:
I want you to be here -another way of saying- i want very much for you to be here or it is very important that you be there
Difference bw: i be and i am,
Be here (is an imperative)

A

Used alot in spanish
As it expresses an element of doubt or uncertainty, for example be here implies it is imp that he be here but he may not make it:
It is important that you be here
Es importante que este aqui
(Este implies to everyone este you/he/it/me

20
Q

Subjunctive: (but don’t treat the placement of pronouns as that of imperatives, they follow the usual rules)
It is important that you be here
(we dont have an o for me, same sound as she/he/it)
It is important that you call me

A

Es importante que este aqui

Es importante que me llame

21
Q

That used in the middle of the sentence:

A

Que

22
Q

To wait

A

Esperar

23
Q

It is not neccesary that you wait for me

A

No es necessario que me espeere

24
Q

In spanish we cannot literally say:
I want you to write to me
If we say te quero that means i want/love you
So i want you to write to me translates as i want that you write to me
What do you want me to do is translated as what do you want that i do and after that is the command tense

A

….

25
Q

What do you want me to write to him?

What do you want that i write to him?

A

Que quiere que le escriba

26
Q

I want you to do it

I want that you do it

A

Quiero que lo haga

27
Q

What do you want me to do?

What do you want that i do?

A

Que quiere que lo haga

Or Que quiere que yo lo haga

28
Q

I think he can do it

This is not subjunctive as there is no doubt

A

Pienso que puede asirlo

29
Q

I dont think he can do it

Here there is an element of doubt so this is treated as a subjanctive

A

No pienso que pueda

30
Q

To send

A

Mandar
