State the characteristics of Mercury.
- 0.39 AU from the Sun
- A rocky ball covered in crates, a little larger than Earth’s moon
- No atmosphere
State the characteristics of Venus.
- 0.72 AU from the Sun
- Slightly smaller than the Earth with volcanoes and lava flows.
- Thick acidic atmosphere with greenhouse gas effect.
State the characteristics of Earth.
- 1 AU from the Sun
- Rocky world, capable of living in
- Atmosphere made of N2, O2, and H2O.
State the characteristics of Mars.

Define the Trans Neptunian Objects and Kuiper Belt.
- Objects that orbit the sun beyond the orbit of Neptune
- Kuiper belt is disc shaped group of millions of small objects orbiting the sun.
- Composed of fragments from other formations.
What is an Oort Cloud?
A spherical cloud made of small fragments of ice debris.
What is a comet?
An object made from rock, ice, or gases from the Kuiper Belt, or Oort Cloud.
