there are 7 and they are: -own resources -insurance -state funding conditional fees arrangement (CFA) -trade union membership -citizens advice -Pro Bono

advantages: -hire whichever legal team you wish disadvantages: -highly expensive ]-takes a long time -you may end up in a lot of debt

advantages:
-it is mostly free, if you qualify to use it
disadvantages:
-may have a bigger premium to pay after this
-you are only given this if there is a good chance of you winning

advantages: -it is free if you qualify disadvantages: -legal aid has been cut in many sectors -you may still be in debt as you may not get full state funding

advantages: -no legal fees if won -free solicitors advice disadvantages: -only take your case if you are likely to win -still pay fees even if you win

-can help you get the advice you need
-some barristers may represent you in court
disadvantages:
-not all lawyers are willing to do this
-most lawyers may not represent you well as it is free
define state funding
state funding is money that the government gives you to help with your legal issues if you meet the criteria

Conditional Fees Arrangement. They are no-win, no-fee lawyers and a percentage is agreed of the amount of compensation you will get.

A trade union is an organisation that fights for the rights of a particular trade.

Citizens Advice Bureau is a charity that helps by giving people free legal advice
define Pro Bono
Pro Bono is free legal advice and help given by both solicitors and barristers to help build up their reputation
