They released news stories of negative side effects which altered public perception of vax safety. The risks and panic were inflated by public perception. A lot of people cancelled Astra Zeneca vaccinations.
What are the realities of the disinformation about vaccinations?
People are put at risk.

A strong, but untrue, statement on which arguments are based.
What is quote mining?
When someone uses a quote out of context to create untruth.
How does someone farm likes?
They make up a story with emotional value, and plea others to raise up the profile of the story/person.

They use negative bias and emotional graphics/language to manipulate you. They use headlines to blow a story out of proportion.
What two news sections are used to manipulate most often?
Current events and weather.
Ways to check reliability of information?
Google scholar, check credentials of person writing article, and the person they are quote mining. Check the URL
Ways to deal with misinformation?
Investigate the author of the claim, the company and people they work for. Investigate the claim.
