What is the Message?
A
Message is the main argument or what the main point the source is saying?

What is perspective?
A
Perspective is what the author opinions or view about the event. Are the supportive or critical.

What factors can affect a person’s view on the topic?
A
- motive
- purpose
- bias
- time or place
- nationality
- experience

What is the context?
A
Explain the event the source is related to or is about.

What is the Usefulness?
A
How can the issue of the source be useful today? What insights does it give? Who does it inform or teach?

What is the reliability?
A
Can you trust the source?
Make sure to list reasons to trust and reasons not to trust.
And then make an overruling point on to trust/ or not to trust

What are factors which affect reliability?
A
- time difference between the creation of the source and the event
- bias of the author
- who has written it … is it authority or knowledgeable person?
- today events corresponding with the events
