Alliteration
The repetition of the same sound occuring at the beginning of words close together in a line or serises
Anaphora
The repeition of a word or phrase at the beginning of a successive lines.
Colloquialism
Is the use of informal words and phrases ina piece of writing. Colloquial usage is conevrsational and may include regional dialect, vernacular, and slang (Ex. Y’all, ain’t Lit; entire works can be classified as colloquial, such as “The catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger)
Dialect
The lanuage used by the people from a specific area, class, or other group. Ex. You makin’ fun o’me agian, Mr.Finch? Mayella Ewell from “TKAM.
Onomantopoeia
A word which imitates the natural sounds of a thing, like a sound effect.Any word or words that help the reader HEAR the sounds are examples of Onomantopoeia. Gushing stream
Parallelism
The use of components in a sentance that are grammatically the same in their construction, sound, meaning or meter, Like fater, like son

Opposite ideas put together
