16
Q

What is simultaneous sound?

A

Sound that takes place at the same time as the image in terms of the story’s events. (For example, characters speaking on screen).

17
Q

What is rhythm?

A

Is sound that occupies a duration; it involves a beat or pulse; a tempo or pace

18
Q

What is fidelity?

A

A sound that is connected to its picture from any source. (For example, a we see a dog barking, and we hear that barking sound, is fidelity; but that barking noise can still be manipulated, meaning that barking noise may not even came from the same dog on picture).

19
Q

What is spatial?

A

Refers to the conditions of space, where the sound originates from.

20
Q

What is temporal?

A

Refers to sound relations to visual elements that take place in a specific time

21
Q

What is diegetic sound?

A

Sound that has a source in the story world

22
Q

What is non-diegetic sound?

A

Sound that has a source outside of the story world

23
Q

What is external diegitic sound?

A

Sound that has a physical source in the scene

24
Q

What is internal diegetic sound?

A

Sound from the inside the mind of the character
