How might throat cancer present itself?
Change in voice (hot potato speech), ear pain, painful swallowing, hypoglossal nerve (tongue) palsy/weakness
What is a laryngectomy?
Surgical resection of larynx and separation of the airway from the GI tract
What is a tracheostomy?
Artificial passage into trachea
