Examples of controls methods during an evacuation?
- Use different words to motivate. Instruct forcefully.
- Strike at passengers arm or knee if blocking exit
- If seated, place hand on lower back and push them down the slide.
Cabin Crew Procedures during a Snow/Ice Emergency?
Instruct passengers to don all available clothing. No high heel shoes.
Life jackets donned over clothing

What are the Cabin Crew Actions during a Land Evacuation Preperation?
- Obtain and Review Drill Sheer
- Proceed to demo position
- Carry out demo in accordance with CSM PA
- Check pax understanding
- Brief customers with special requirements
- Secure galley and any loose items
- Reposition pax if required (buddy system)
- Check all doors armed
- Gather and stow drinks for recovery after landing (no alcohol or caffeine)
- Return to seat upon PA. Await brace command.
What passengers are suggested for an ABP role?
- Positioning crew
- Military personnel
- Police or security
- People who responded to authority
What additional considerations should be given for an evacuation AT the terminal?
- Use of steps of aerobridges
- Check exit area for vehicles or obstructions
- ARM door if inflation area is clear.
- Open door
