Name the three parts of the sonata form?
A
- Exposition - main tune 1st and 2nd group (tonic and dominant/sub-dominant)
- Development - broken up + contrasting with 1st part. Moves through through a range of keys + free to transform anything from expo.
- Recapitulation - repeat 1st group/subject + second subject but in tonic
