Why is there a historical link between technology and society? / Explain the origins of technology in the ancient civilizations. and give examples.

Answer 4

So when people think about technological progress they think that it is something new. Because many link it with the start of the industrial revolution.

But its actually more than that, because the origins of technology can be traced all the way back to the ancient civilizations 4000Bc. During this period, many civilizations were dependant on technology in order for their society to function.
