What is Thales of Miletus known for?
1) He is considered to be the first philosopher in the Greek tradition.
2) He proposed that water was the fundamental substance of the universe.
3) His approach marked a shift from mythological explanations to naturalistic ones.
What is Pythagoras known for?
He is known for the pyhtgorean theorem,pyhtgaors and his followers believed that numbers and mathetmical relationships were the essence of all things.
This mathetimcal approach later influenced scientific developments.
