Software as a Service Flashcards
What are the four steps for the MVP launch framework?
- Identify the core features
- Cut down the scope
- Establish the tech stack
- Build effectively and quickly
How do I identify the core features of my MVP?
- Determine the essential features that your product must have to provide value to your users.
- These should be the most critical and fundamental features that address your target audience’s primary needs.
What does “cutting down the scope” mean in the MVP launch framework?
- Cut down to the very basic features.
- Users should be able to signup, solve their problem and that’s it. You don’t need anything else. Design is secondary.
- Focus on excellence but only on one
What is key when establishing your tech stack?
Stick with what you know
What is the habit loop and why is it important when developing a saas?
A philosophy for creating addictive applications.
1. Trigger
2. Action
3. Variable Reward
How should I approach feature requests in a saas?
I could have a feature request section in my app and I can categorize requests by demand, impact and effort and prioritize them accordingly
What’s a general idea to keep in mind when pricing your SaaS?
Charge more of what you think you should charge. Because being cheap to get more customers is going to cost you more along the way in terms of maintenance and support.
How can I justify charging more in my SaaS?
By adding value/features. I should aim to add so much value that the price is irrelevant.
