How can you tell if there is poor centration on lens?
lens too flat
lids too tight
How can you fix the lens if there is not enough movment?
Flatten base curve
Decrease lens diameter
(8.3 to 8.7)
What would decreasing lens diameter do to the contact lens if the fit is tight?
Loosens the fit
How can you fix the lens if there is too much movement?
Steepen base curve
Increase lens diameter
(8.9 to 8.6)
What would increasing lens diameter do to the contact lens if the fit is loose?
Tightens the fit
Check spherical over refraction
