founder of functionalism (Durkheim) believes that society controls the individual. They say inequality is important.

You get what you deserve or You earn your reward. For example, the harder you work, the better your out come/ reward will be.

Capital is the unequal distribution of wealth. The worker does the agreed work from an agreed wage.
