who was the founder of functionalism and what do they believe in?
A
founder of functionalism (Durkheim) believes that society controls the individual. Society is made up of various instututions. They say inequality is important and that without ineuqality, society wouldnt function.

What is meritocracy ?
A
You get what you deserve or You earn your reward. For example, the harder you work, the better your out come/ reward will be.

What is capitalism ?
A
Capital is the unequal distribution of wealth. The worker does the agreed work from an agreed wage.
