We should view other humans as ‘siblings’ rather than opponents
Cooperation> Competition

Legal justice is not enough. A guarantee for complete equality of opportunity is needed

Method of ownership seen as conductive to equality and Fraternity
Fundamentalist Socialism
Socialist values are fundamentally incompatible with a capitalist society
Marxism
Karl Marx critique of capitalism and a justification to revolutionary politics
Communism
The perfect society based of communal ownership
Dialectic
Hegel (philosopher’s) label for the continuous clash of ideas throughout history that will eventually cause a disappearance of existing society
Historical Materialism
Each ‘stage’ of history is defined by a clash of Economic ideas
Class consciousness
A By-Product of Capitalism, the working class becoming aware of their own exploitation, this will be the engine to the revolution
Democratic Centralism
Only one party that embodied the will of the people - not very democratic at all!
Evolutionary Socialism
Socialism can be achieved peacefully using the existing capitalist system
Revisionist Socialism
Socialism can be achieved without the destruction of capitalism and private property
Keynesian Economics
Involves the state managing market forces to ensure steady growth and full employment
