What is primary socialisation
The learning of norms and values from the parents or guardians in the first years of their lives
What is seccondary socialisation
The process in which a child come into contact with others and gains a wider understanding of the Social norms and values of a wider society
How does primary socialisation effect attitudes on:

Minority ethnic groups
Disabled people
Gender- colour of rooms, boys/girls toys
Minority ethnic groups-parents racist/ parents are two different colours
Disabled people- parents are racist/a parent is disabled

Disabled people are hardly ever seen on tv as the Olympics is broadcasted on main channels and is promoted frequently, however the Paralympics is not
