What were some big international problems faced
Britain still had forts on American soil. The Americans couldn’t defend themselves because they had no army. On top of that Spain decided to close the lower half of the Mississippi river. This meant farmers couldn’t sell their goods. States were not working well together and Congress couldn’t pass tariffs.
What were some domestic issues
the Congress couldn’t trade between states. There was no common currency. INFLATION!! And economic depression.
Summarize shays rebellion
Massachusetts raised taxes and farmers were already in debt. So if the farmers couldn’t pay off their debt they would have their land taken. So the angry farmers shut down court. Most got arrested and some even killed.
