Definition - Geography
- Study of physical features on the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected
History
The study of past events and their impact on the development of civilization
Economics
Dealing with land, resources and/or money; The study of resources, how they’re used, and how they impact social structures

Bias
- a point of view in favor of/or against one thing, person, or group compared with another,
- usually in a way considered to be unfair.
- can impact the reliability of sources in history
Perspective
- point of view
- the way an individual or group views something
Culture
- a shared way of life
Claim
- a stance that is debatable and can be supported by historical evidence
- Rule of three - requires a minimum of 3 historical pieces of evidence to support a stance
Context
Historical Context - describing what led up to a time period or historical event and whys it’s significant
- What led up to the historical event in question? Explain the impact.
Geographic Context - describing the physical features of a specific location and how it impacted the development of civilizations, historical events, and/or history.
- What are the physical features? - Why do they matter?
