When a person is influenced by someon he or she likes or look up to, like a movie stsr, celebrities
Identification
When a person is able to own a certain belief or act and is willing to make it known publicly and privately
Internalization
Social influence that involves a change in behavior, beliefs, or thinking to be like others
Conformity
Two varieties of conformity
Informational Conformity ( internalization )
Normative Conformity ( compliance )
Occurs when a individual whole- heartedly changes his or her original thinking and beliefs, actions and attitudes to align with those of the other members of a group
Conversion
When a bigger number of people are Influenced by a much smaller number of people and when the minority way of looking at and doing things are accepted
Minority Influence
When there is willing rejection of a social influence being exerted on an individual or group. Aka, Non or Anti Conformity
Reactance
Another form of Social influence wherein a person follows what someone tell him or her to do, although it may not necessarily reflect the person set of beliefs.
Obedience
Used by one peson or group to influence another to change their beliefs, actions, or attitude by appealing to reason or emotion
Persuasion
Unique to the individual where privacy, intimacy, loyalty, disclosure and trust are very important
Personal Relationship
Less intimate, with lessen self disclosure, and may demand certain level of loyalty
Social Relationship
This theory defines leadership based on certain personality traits which are generally suited for all leaders such as decisiveness, persistence, high level of self defense.

This theory presupposes that leadership is a learned behavior, and that leader are defined according to certain types of behavior they exhibit

Participative Theory
This Theory assumes that there is no one style of leadership and tht leadership behavior is based on the factors present in a situation and usually takes consideration how followers behavve
Situational Theory
This Theory states that leadership involves a transaction or negotiation of resources or position an usually employs reward or punishment
Transactional Theory
This Theory involves a vision which leader used to rally support from followers and the role of the leader is in motivating others to support the vision and make it happen
Transformational Theory
