What is Prejudice?
Thinking badly of others for no reason
What characteristics can we give to someone with Prejudiced views?
- Prejudiced against all different to themselves
- Magnification of differences between groups
- Negative view of out-group and positive view of in-group
- Negative views are persistent
Can we form prejudice without meeting the out-group?
Yes we can form prejudices without meeting a certain group due to stereotypes and projection of our own emotions onto the group
