the conversion effect

A

the process of assimilating idea is slow because initially the idea has been resisted, purely because of their source but over time the source is detached form the idea and it begins to reappearing the individuals as their own idea. conversion effect shows how dominant idea and trends within a culture can be launched by minority groups despite strong resistance from the majority groups.
