What are the key assumptions of the neo-behaviourist approach
A
behaviour is learned from the environment, so therefore it does not regard the influence of genetics as an influence of behaviour
we are born as blank slates
behaviour is learned from observing the reinforcement or punishment the model receives
social learning theorists say that things take place within the organism that mediate between stimulus and response, you do need to know about the person’s mental processes
