Equity
Refers to the allocation of recources according to the needs of individuals and populations, the goal being to achieve equal outcomes.
Diversity
Variety or difference between individuals and groups of people.
Supportive Environments
The environment in which someone lives, works or plays will have a major impact on their level of health and their ability to make changes.
Participation
Enables individuals to participate in descisions which affect their lives. Provides better outcomes and opportunites for power imbalances to be overcome.
Equity
Taking action to achieve fairness by allocating resources and entitlements.
Access
Ensuring all people can access treatments and services regardless of their age, gender, or ethnicity.
Rights
In order to maintain a just society, everyones rights must be protected. These may include civil, political, economic, culture, and social rights.
