What is the WHO definition
Health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well being. It invloves more than just the absense of diease.
What factors give impact different meanings of health
Age, Gender, education, socioeconomic status, heredity, lifestyle
What is physical health
Functioning of the body and its systems. eg eating a balanced diet, rest, physical activity
What is emotional health
How people think and feel, and how they cope with thoughts and feelings. eg. securring a new job but later suffering with a relationship breakdown.
What is social health
How we interact with other people. eg. friends, family, peers, coworkers, and social communication skills we display.
What is spiritual Health
relating to a sense of purpose and meaning in life. eg. family, peers, community, religion, environment.
What is mental health
Is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with stresses of life. eg. anxiety/ depression
