Social Influence
How we are influenced by others either by a group (majority influence) or an individual (minority influence) or obedience to change our behaviour thinking or attitudes
Conformity
A change in a persons behaviour or opinion as a result of real or imagined pressure from the majority
Obedience
A form of social influence in which an individual follows a direct order from a person in authority who has the ability to punish them if they do not obey
Minority Influence
a form of social influence in which a minority of people or just one individual persuade others to adopt their beliefs attitudes and behaviours
Social Change
Occurs when whole societies rather than just individuals adopt new attitudes beliefs or ways of doing things.
