-Advertising leads to desire to buy material possessions that some cannot afford.
-Globalisation led to unemployment with companies relocating to save labour costs.
Feminism (Abott)
-Women more likely to live in poverty due to men getting the best jobs,with women facing a glass ceiling as a result of motherhood.

-Social class inequalities are positive for society;They play a key role in making society work and keeping society healthy
-They motivate individuals to work hard and take responsibility for their own position in society.
