Who was Henry Hudson and what did he do?
He was a British explorer that was trying to find the northwest passage but got trapped in the ice. He stayed there for the winter and his crew abandoned him and his son.
What did John Cabot do in Newfoundland?
He caught fish, dried them and brought them back to England.
What did Jacques Cartier do on this two trips to North America?
On the first he met the Mi’kamq in Nova Scotia. And on the second, he stayed in Stradacona over the winter.
What did Samuel de Champlain do?
Created the first colony in stradacona, now Quebec City. He also explored the Great lakes and mapped then out.
