Bystander apathy/ bystander effect
People fail to act and help someone in need when other are present
Diffusion of responsibility
When there is a victim and loss of bystander, each individual take less responsibility, so no one helps because there’s someone else would. each individual preserve the responsibility of helping to be shared among everyone who is present and so see themselves as being less responsible
Altruism
Unselfish concern for other people doing things, simply out of a desire to help, not because you feel obligated to out of duty ,loyalty, religious reason. It involves acting out of concern for the well-being of other people.
Confederate
individuals who seem to be participants but in reality are part of the research team
Authority
A person who is perceived to be in a position of social control , higher hierarchy within a situation.
Obedience
the act of following the instructions or orders of an authority figure.
