Regardless of how you feel about your job right now, adopting the Craftsman mindset will be the foundation on which you will build a compelling career

Great jobs are rare and valuable. Therefore to obtain one you must develop skills that are rare and valuable.

Delivered practice is the key strategy for acquiring career capital
If you just show up and work hard, you’ll soon hit a performance plateau beyond which you won’t get any better
You have to apply the principles of deliberate practice most important being stretch yourself and get immediate feedback
You have to have a never ending thirst to get better. You have to practice and you have to study.
