Q

What effect does smoking have on the lungs?

A

Smoking changes the airways in the lungs. The nicotine from cigarets destroys cilia so the dirt, pathogens ,ms mocking chemical and foreign particulars we breathe in are not filtered before entering the lungs. The build up of all these pathogens can cause respiratory diseases such as emphysema, lung cancer and chest infections.
